Packages Group Sustainability Team conducted a focused training session on ISO 20400: Sustainable Procurement Guidelines in collaboration with SGS for the procurement team at Tri-Pack Films Limited, Karachi, with over 15 participants from Procurement, Commercial, Supply Chain, and Sustainability.
The session aimed to strengthen understanding of sustainable procurement practices and their role in driving environmental, social, and economic value across the supply chain. Key areas covered included life cycle thinking, responsible sourcing, supplier evaluation, and the integration of sustainability into procurement decisions. Through practical insights and real-world examples, the session reinforced the importance of transparency, ethical practices, and continuous improvement within procurement processes.
